When travelling West, away from London

  • Leave the M4 motorway at Junction 17, heading on the A350 towards Chippenham.
  • Take the by-pass around Chippenham and remain on the A350 heading towards Melksham and Trowbridge.
  • On the outskirts of Melksham you will come to a large roundabout, (with a large ASDA supermarket on your right). Take the last exit towards Bath. (At first you seem to be going back to Chippenham).
  • Stay in the left lane on the A365 towards Corsham and Bath.
  • Continue on A365 to traffic lights. Ignore the turn to Corsham and remain on the A365 towards Bath. Continue through Shaw until you reach Atworth.
  • Come down hill, over small roundabout, and look for the pub The White Hart Inn on the right.
  • We are four doors further along, also on the right hand side. Turn right into our drive and there is parking in front of the white garage doors.

If travelling East, towards London:

  • Leave the motorway at Junction 18 and follow the A46 towards Bath.
  • Do not turn off the A46 to Bath but follow the signs for the A4 to Chippenham.
  • Remain on A4 until you reach the traffic lights in the village of Box and take the right fork (the A365) to Melksham.
  • Travel on this road, until you come to the village of Atworth. (There is a BP Petrol Station as you enter the village).
  • Drive into the village – you will see signs to Church Farm Bed & Breakfast. Go a little further, past the turning to Mead Park and you will see King’s Stile Cottage Bed and Breakfast on your left, just before the pub, The White Hart Inn. Please turn left into our drive. You will see two white garage doors at the end of our drive, and you can park in front of either.

If travelling from the South West via Bradford-on-Avon:

  • Go through Bradford-on-Avon over the bridge crossing the river.
  • At the bottom of the hill in the centre of the town, turn left at the mini roundabout.
  • Leave Bradford-on-Avon by going up the hill (Market St and Mason’s lane) and at the top is a small roundabout and a church.
  • Turn RIGHT here and follow that road for about 200 metres and on the LEFT you will see a road signposted to Corsham. (B3109)
  • Turn left and follow this road straight on, over another mini roundabout.
  • At the crossroads with traffic lights, go straight across, still heading to Corsham. Follow the road (about 3 miles) until the next crossroads with traffic lights.
  • Turn RIGHT towards Melksham until you come to the village of ATWORTH . (There is a BP Petrol Station on your right as you enter the village).
  • Drive into the village – you will see signs to Church Farm Bed & Breakfast. Go a little further on the main road past the turning to Mead park, and you will see King’s Stile Cottage Bed and Breakfast on your left, just before the pub, The White Hart Inn. Please turn left into our drive. You will see two white garage doors at the end of our drive, and you can park in front of either.

  • Continue on the A365 to traffic lights, ignore the turn to Corsham, remain on the A365 towards Bath. Continue through Shaw until you reach Atworth.
  • Come down hill, over small roundabout, and look for the pub The White Hart Inn on the right.
